2 computer towers, 1 no keyboard,monitor,mouse. How can I connect the two computers so I can use files on both - keyboard monitor mouse

I have 2 computer towers, 1 no mouse or keyboard
. monitor Well, the old computer will not start without
Keyboard, mouse and monitor connected. What would I like
Connect to my computer is new on the old computer, you can
Files on both computers that only my new computer keyboard,
Mouse and monitor.

What would be the easiest way to do this? Can a KVM switch
"Extract" then the two computers with a USB cable or other simple
directly with two computers and have access to two computers?
